Weber Can't Shake Grill False Marking Suit

Law360, New York (February 16, 2011, 1:27 PM EST) -- A federal judge has denied Weber-Stephen Products Co.'s bid to dismiss a false marking suit over a number of grills and other products, saying the pleadings were sufficient to allege Weber had an intent to deceive the public.

Judge James B. Zagel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Tuesday denied Weber's motion to dismiss Thomas A. Simonian's seven-count qui tam false marking complaint.
