Broadcom Hits Qualcomm With New Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (April 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Broadcom Corp. took the next move in its ongoing, increasingly complicated war with Qualcomm Inc., filing a suit late Thursday alleging that its rival violated competition laws.

In a 37-page complaint filed in the California Superior Court in Orange County, Broadcom claimed that Qualcomm had improperly concealed its patents, reneged on licensing obligations and exerted its dominance through hidden affiliations.
