Aetna Asks Court To Pause Wage-And-Hour Suit

Law360, New York (February 17, 2011, 7:07 PM EST) -- Insurer Aetna Inc. on Thursday asked a federal judge to freeze a wage-and-hour class action against it, saying the case is closely related to another suit already on hold.

Plaintiffs' attorneys should not be allowed to get away with filing a “sham” lawsuit to dodge a stay in related litigation, Aetna said in a motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
