Kwikset Ruling To Reignite False Ad Suits By Rivals

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 6:50 PM EDT) -- A recent California Supreme Court ruling allowing a suit by consumers who alleged they bought a product as a result of false advertising will not only lead to a boom in consumer class actions against manufacturers, but could boost lawsuits between rival companies, attorneys say.
