Law Firms Conspired On Illegal Tax Shelter: Suit

Law360, New York (April 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just weeks after Jenkens & Gilchrist collapsed over its involvement in an illegal tax shelter scheme, Holland & Hart, Snell & Wilmer and two other law firms have been sued over their role in a tax shelter in Arizona.

The suit, filed Friday by five people and an Arizona corporation in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, alleges fraud, negligence, civil conspiracy to commit fraud, unjust enrichment and breach of fiduciary duty against a bevy of defendants.
