DOJ Ordered To Share Docs In Bagram Bribery Case

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 3:18 PM EST) -- A Hawaii federal judge on Monday ordered the U.S. Department of Justice to turn over documents to former Army contracting officers at Afghanistan’s Bagram Air Base accused of accepting a $50,000 bribe for approving a supply transport contract.

The DOJ must hand over hard copies of the contract at issue and their legal justification for seizing evidence from two defendants’ private e-mail accounts, according to an order Monday from Judge Susan Oki Mollway of the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.
