Lighting Co. Sues US Over Airfield Contract Selection

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 6:24 PM EST) -- Patriot Taxiway Industries Inc. sued the U.S. government Monday over the Air Force’s rejection of the aerospace and military lighting provider's $124 million bid for an airfield lighting system in favor of Tactical Lighting Systems Inc.'s $64 million offer.

The suit filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims called the government’s price analysis arbitrary and capricious. PTI sued the government after the U.S. Government Accountability Office found its challenges lacked merit and denied its bid protest in December.
