'FarmVille' Maker Zynga Sued Over $13M Stock Deal

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 4:58 PM EST) -- Alpha Investment LLC filed suit Friday in Delaware court against “FarmVille” creator Zynga Inc., accusing the online gaming company of thwarting a $12.9 million stock purchase agreement.

Alpha filed its suit in the Delaware Court of Chancery, saying Zynga attempted to impose restrictions on how Alpha could sell or transfer the 1 million shares it agreed to buy from Zynga co-founder Andrew Trader, who no longer works at the company.
