PG&E Defends Gas Explosion Procedures To NTSB

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 5:00 PM EST) -- Pacific Gas & Electric Co. representatives testified before the National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday about September's deadly gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno, Calif., saying the company's policies were reasonable and that relevant safety procedures had been followed.

The NTSB's official Board of Inquiry, which launched a three-day set of hearings into the explosion Tuesday, primarily questioned PG&E employees on the company's operations leading up to and following the Sept. 9 explosion.
