Pay-For-Delay Deals Stay Under Wraps In Cephalon Suit

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 8:51 PM EST) -- Cephalon Inc. on Monday lost a bid to force the Federal Trade Commission to release the details of dozens of so-called pay-for-delay agreements that name-brand drugmakers used to keep generic competition off the market.

Judge L. Felipe Restrepo of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Philadelphia denied Cephalon's request to compel the FTC to release the information.
