Law360, New York (March 02, 2011, 5:54 PM ET) -- The Federal Circuit on Wednesday reversed a Minnesota district court's summary judgment ruling against Cimline Inc. and invalidated a Crafco Inc. patent involving sealant melters.
In its opinion, a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit found that when Crafco combined prior art sealant melters with a powered conveyor belt, it required nothing more than common sense to appreciate the resultant advantage.
