Intel Accused Of Hindering NY Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 3:58 PM EST) -- New York’s attorney general Tuesday accused Intel Corp. of obstructing an antitrust investigation, asking a Delaware court to prevent the microprocessor giant from misusing a confidentiality agreement to block subpoenas.

Intel is leaning on a protective order from a settled contract dispute in the Delaware Court of Chancery to prevent its adversary in that case, Nvidia Corp., from responding to investigators’ queries about the antitrust claims, according to a motion filed by New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman.
