HP Dodges Sanctions In Ink-Jet Cartridge Suit

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 8:34 PM EST) -- An administrative judge on Tuesday denied Asia Pacific Microsystems Inc.'s motion for sanctions against Hewlett-Packard Co., saying HP acted reasonably when it accused the Taiwanese company of importing MicroJet Technology Co. Ltd. ink-jet cartridges that infringed six patents.

Administrative Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. of the U.S. International Trade Commission said HP had done nothing wrong when it fingered APM in its complaint.
