Ind. Secretary Of State Charged With Vote Fraud

Law360, New York (March 4, 2011, 1:43 PM EST) -- A grand jury on Thursday indicted Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White on seven felony charges including vote fraud and theft, prompting calls from Gov. Mitch Daniels, a fellow Republican, for him to step down.

White appeared Thursday at the Hamilton County, Ind., jail where he was booked on charges that also include perjury and fraud stemming from allegations that he voted in the wrong district during his election campaign.
