InterDigital Asks 2nd Circ. For Nokia Stay Damages

Law360, New York (March 7, 2011, 6:21 PM EST) -- Wireless technology developer InterDigital Inc. argued Monday before the Second Circuit that it was entitled to damages associated with the stay of a patent infringement action against Nokia Corp. in the U.S. International Trade Commission.

A lawyer for InterDigital, Gideon A. Schor of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC, told a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that the company should be able to tap a $500,000 bond to cover attorneys' fees and other costs in battling the measure.
