Greenberg Traurig Snags Kirkland, DLA Piper IP Attys

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 2:16 PM EST) -- Greenberg Traurig LLP announced Friday that it has bolstered its intellectual property practice with the addition of a Kirkland & Ellis LLP partner and a DLA Piper attorney to its Washington-area offices.

Former Kirkland & Ellis partner and litigator Charan Brahma will work as a shareholder based in Greenberg's Washington office, while Heidi Salow, a leading privacy and data protection attorney, will leave DLA Piper to join the firm's Tyson Corner, Va., office as a shareholder, according to Greenberg.
