JPMorgan Brings On New Home Lending GC

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 7:59 PM EST) -- JPMorgan Chase & Co. on Tuesday said it had hired a former federal prosecutor and Bank of New York Mellon Corp. senior lawyer as general counsel for its home lending unit.

Matthew Biben will join the financial giant as senior legal counsel on March 14, and will report directly to Steve Cutler, JPMorgan’s general counsel, according to a representative for the company.

JPMorgan said Biben will also work alongside Chief Administrative Officer Frank Bisignano, recently named head of Chase Home Lending.
