Law360, New York (March 08, 2011, 8:08 PM ET) -- A Hewlett-Packard Co. shareholder filed suit in a California federal court Monday accusing HP board members of sitting back while the company paid bribes in the U.S. and abroad and made a reckless $2.3 billion bid for data storage company 3PAR.
HP shareholder A.J. Copeland filed a derivative suit against HP Chairman Raymond J. Lane, HP President and CEO Leo Apotheker, former HP CEO Mark Hurd and 15 others in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
