Ex-Best Medical Workers Slip Cancer Therapy IP Suit

Law360, New York (March 9, 2011, 4:08 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday nixed Best Medical International Inc.'s infringement claims against four ex-workers who allegedly stole trade secrets used in the creation of Accuray Inc.'s cancer treatment system in violation of employment agreements.

Judge Terrence F. McVerry of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania partially granted the defendants' motion to dismiss the suit, but kept two claims against Accuray alive.
