DOJ Accuses Accenture, HP Of Kickbacks Scheme

Law360, New York (April 20, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The United States has intervened in three whistleblower suits accusing Accenture LLP, Hewlett-Packard Co. and Sun Microsystems Inc. of engaging in a long-running kickbacks scheme for technology contracts with a slew of government agencies.

The complaints from the U.S. Department of Justice were unsealed on April 19—one week after they were filed to bolster a legal campaign that started in April 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
