Ill. Gov. Quinn Kills 2 Coal-To-Gas Plants

Law360, New York (March 15, 2011, 3:27 PM EDT) -- Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn vetoed legislation Monday that would have paved the way for two new coal gasification plants in the state, including one in Chicago's South Side, citing the higher costs consumers would have to pay for the cleaner energy.
