OUII Asks ITC To Review Toss Of Nintendo Wii Probe

Law360, New York (March 15, 2011, 5:42 PM EDT) -- The Office of Unfair Import Investigations has asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to review a finding that Motiva LLC was not creating a relevant domestic when Nintendo Co. Ltd. introduced allegedly infringing Wii consoles, according to documents made public Monday.

The OUII filed a petition March 1 asking the ITC to review an administrative law judge's decision to grant Nintendo's motion for summary determination, which terminated Motiva's complaint and the related ITC investigation under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.
