Ex-Md. Pol Pleads Not Guilty To Bribery Charges

Law360, New York (March 15, 2011, 10:43 PM EDT) -- The former top executive of Prince George’s County, Md., on Tuesday pled not guilty to charges that he took bribes from real estate developers to funnel them federal grant money.

Jack B. Johnson pled not guilty to eight counts of conspiracy, extortion, bribe taking and witness tampering in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
