Endo Sues Mylan Over Generic Lidoderm Patch

Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 2:19 PM ET) -- Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. sued Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Delaware federal court Monday, asking the court to block a generic version of Endo's Lidoderm patch that might infringe a patent for topical medication patches.

Mylan sent Endo a letter in January announcing that it was filing an abbreviated new drug application for a generic version of Lidoderm with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
