Continental Recalls 400K Tires On Ford Trucks

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 6:22 PM EDT) -- The North American unit of German tire maker Continental AG announced Friday that it would voluntarily recall nearly 400,000 tires used on Ford Motor Co. F-250 and F-350 trucks because of problems with improper inflation in hot weather.

Alexander Luhrs, head of public relations for the light truck tires division of Continental, said the company is recalling 390,657 tires made at the company’s plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, between May 2007 and September 2008.
