ITA Nixes Duty Review On Some Chinese Off-Road Tires

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 4:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Friday rescinded part of an anti-dumping duty review on off-road tire imports from a slew Chinese companies, citing a withdrawal of review requests from Bridgestone Americas Inc. and several exporters.

Commerce’s International Trade Administration said it would pull back part of its review of an anti-dumping duty order covering entries of new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China between Sept. 1, 2009, and Aug. 31, 2010.

Effective immediately, the agency will end its review of the products from Guizhou Tyre Co....
