Abbott Unit Defeats Inequitable Conduct Claims

Law360, New York (April 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that heart stent patents held by a division of Abbott Laboratories that were previously found to be infringed by Medtronic Vascular Inc. were not procured by the holder through inequitable conduct.

After a two-day bench trial held in June 2005 to consider the matter, Judge Sue L.
