Hospital Sued For Alleged X-Ray Conspiracy

Law360, New York (April 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A radiologist has sued an Illinois hospital and its chief for allegedly conspiring to drive him out of business by coercing medical staff to refer patients to a rival x-ray provider.

Dr. Leslie Lindberg claims in court papers that the Iroquois Memorial Hospital, CEO Stephen Leurck and competitor Associated Radiologists violated antitrust laws by restraining competition and monopolizing radiology services in Iroquois county.
