1st Circ. Puts An End To Longest NYSE Arbitration

Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 11:49 PM EDT) -- The First Circuit said Wednesday that former employees of now-defunct Robertson Stephens Inc. were not entitled to an additional award of deferred compensation after they won more than $14.7 million in damages in the longest-running New York Stock Exchange arbitration.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit concluded that the plaintiffs, 42 former employees of the investment bank, were not entitled to a second chance to dispute the terms of the 2007 arbitration award.
