Judge Swats Google Bid To End Jarg Search Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 24, 2011, 5:22 PM ET) -- A Texas federal judge rejected Google Inc.'s sealed motion for summary judgment of noninfringement Thursday in a search patent case brought by Northeastern University and Jarg Corp., ruling that disputed issues remained ahead of a scheduled April trial.

The back-and-forth regarding the search giant's motion, lodged in November in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, was filed under seal, but Judge T.
