Contractor ITT Settles Trade Secrets Fight With Army

Law360, New York (March 28, 2011, 6:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of the Army on Monday settled a suit brought in a Washington court by a unit of ITT Corp. that sought to prevent proprietary information contained in two contracts from being released under a Freedom of Information Act request.

ITT Federal Services International Corp. agreed to the department's proposed redactions on one contract and is likely to accept another set of redactions on the other contract, according to a motion filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Wednesday.
