Drug Test Co. Lured Doctors With Kickbacks, Rival Says

Law360, New York (April 01, 2011, 3:11 PM ET) -- Drug testing company Aegis Sciences Corp. filed an unfair competition lawsuit in Tennessee on Tuesday against Millennium Laboratories Inc., saying its rival lured in physicians with illegal kickbacks and defrauded government health care programs.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Aegis filed its lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, accusing Millennium of false advertising, interference with business relations, unfair competition and violation of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act.
