Ex-BIO Exec Named USTR's Agriculture Affairs Chief

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 3:50 PM EDT) -- The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced Thursday that it has tapped a former Biotechnology Industry Organization executive to fill a leading role in the office of agricultural affairs.

Sharon Borner Lauristen will join the USTR in early May as the new assistant U.S. trade representative for agricultural affairs and commodity policy, according to U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk.
