Law360, New York (March 31, 2011, 8:20 PM ET) -- Barnes & Noble Inc. reached an accord in Ohio on Thursday with Nook Industries Inc. over the mechanical component manufacturer's claims that the bookseller's Nook e-reader infringed the “Nook” trademark.
Judge Christopher A. Boyko of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio ordered the case closed after the parties reached an undisclosed settlement. The action was dismissed with prejudice, with each party to bear its own cost, the order said.
