Wood Herron Embezzler Seeks Probation To Pay Insurer

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 5:58 PM EDT) -- A former accounting manager at Wood Herron & Evans LLP who admitted to taking more than $411,000 from the intellectual property boutique asked an Ohio federal judge for probation Thursday, saying she needs to work to pay off an insurer.

Tina Anderson has to repay Cincinnati Insurance Co., which covered the law firm's losses, and can't do that in prison, her lawyer told Judge Herman J. Weber of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
