Goodrich To Pay €330M For Actuator Co. Microtecnica

Law360, New York (April 1, 2011, 5:32 PM EDT) -- Goodrich Corp. announced Friday that it had struck a €330 million ($467 million) deal to acquire Italian manufacturer Microtecnica SRL, which makes flight control actuation and environmental control systems for helicopters, airplanes and missiles.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based aerospace and defense contractor reached the agreement with SSCP Aero Holdings SCA, a company backed by European private equity firm Stirling Square Capital Partners, which bought Microtecnica in July 2008.
