Developer Can't Add Ford Contractor To Cleanup Fight

Law360, New York (April 4, 2011, 7:31 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Monday refused to allow a developer seeking $87 million in damages to sue a Ford Motor Co. contractor in long-running litigation over the cleanup of contaminated concrete from a demolished Ford assembly plant in New Jersey.

Over the objections of Edgewood Properties Inc., Judge William Martini of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey affirmed Magistrate Judge Esther Salas' decision to block Edgewood from adding Alberici Constructors Inc. to the long-running suit.
