Mars' Bid To Block Deposition Nixed In Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (April 05, 2011, 6:30 PM ET) -- The chairman of Mars Inc. has to submit to deposition in multidistrict litigation alleging the candy maker participated in a conspiracy to fix the price of chocolate, a Pennsylvania federal court ruled Monday.

Judge Christopher C. Conner of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said the company has not sufficiently shown there is good cause for the court to issue a protective order keeping John F. Mars from being deposed.
