Sens. Aim To Boost Federal Acquisition Staff

Susan Collins, R-Maine; Daniel Akaka, D-Hawaii; and Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., on Thursday introduced a pair of bills designed to improve recruitment, training and retention in the federal acquisition workforce, as agencies struggle to keep up with explosive growth in contract spending.
