Judge Sends NFL Labor Fight To Mediation

Law360, New York (April 11, 2011, 7:29 PM EDT) -- A Minnesota federal judge on Monday ordered the NFL and its players into mediation to attempt to resolve a proposed antitrust class action over the league’s labor lockout.

Judge Susan Richard Nelson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota signed the order, appointing Chief Magistrate Judge Arthur J. Boylan to serve as mediator. Formal mediation is scheduled to start April 14.
