Parties Offer Bellwether Plan In NuvaRing MDL

Law360, New York (April 12, 2011, 4:25 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for Organon International Inc. and plaintiffs accusing the company in a multidistrict litigation in Missouri of downplaying the health risks of contraceptive NuvaRing on Monday jointly offered a pathway for selecting bellwether cases for trial.

The two sides asked that a case management order laying out the selection process be addressed during a status conference Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
