Law360, New York (April 13, 2011, 2:28 PM ET) -- Aegis Insurance Services Inc. sued a CNA Financial Corp. unit and 10 other insurers in Wisconsin on Tuesday, seeking contribution for coverage of a utility's costs incurred from an environmental investigation at a former manufactured gas plant.
In a third-party complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, Aegis claims policies it issued to Northern States Power Co. specified the insurance would be considered excess if the utility had valid insurance for a loss from another insurer.
