LaBarge Investor Sues Over $340M Ducommun Deal

Law360, New York (April 13, 2011, 5:59 PM EDT) -- Aerospace electronics maker LaBarge Inc. was slapped with a class action Tuesday in Delaware alleging a proposed $340 million merger with rival Ducommun Inc. significantly undervalues the company and would hurt shareholders.

The suit, filed in the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware, alleges that LaBarge’s top executives signed a lucrative deal for themselves but left shareholders poorly compensated.

On April 4, Ducommun announced a plan to acquire LaBarge at $19.25 per share, for a total of $340 million.
