Law360, New York (April 13, 2011, 7:22 PM ET) -- Apple Inc. is exploiting children by charging exorbitant amounts of real money for fictional products as part of iPhone games aimed at kids, according to a proposed breach of contract and consumer protection class action filed Monday in California.
The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, comes weeks after the Federal Trade Commission announced that it is investigating Apple's businesses regarding sales of virtual products as part of iPhone games.
