AT&T, Sony, Others Slapped With Keyboard IP Suit

Law360, New York (April 14, 2011, 2:28 PM EDT) -- Gellyfish Technology of Texas LLC launched a suit Wednesday accusing AT&T Mobility LLC, Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Sony Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co. and more than a dozen others of infringing a patent that covers keyboard technology for portable devices.

The defendants make, use and sell devices and apparatuses that have an alphabetic keyboard accompanied by a numerical keyboard that are covered by one or more claims of U.S. Patent Number 6,847,310, Gellyfish alleges in a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas....
