Engineer Denies Exporting Defense Secrets To China

Law360, New York (April 14, 2011, 7:00 PM EDT) -- An engineer accused of providing the Chinese government with sensitive information about U.S. weapons pled not guilty to criminal charges on Thursday in a New Jersey federal court.

Steve Liu, a former L-3 Communications Corp. employee, entered a not guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey to charges of exporting defense-related technical data without a license and making false statements to federal agents.
