PBS Lures MoFo Atty To Deputy GC Role

Law360, New York (April 15, 2011, 6:07 PM EDT) -- Former Morrison Foerster LLP corporate finance and technology lawyer Craig A. Sperling has joined the PBS staff as deputy general counsel, the public broadcaster announced Thursday.

Sperling, who worked as of counsel at MoFo's McLean, Va., office, will join PBS as a vice president and deputy general counsel.

A six-year MoFo vet, he will run the day-to-day operations of PBS' legal department, guide the network in transactions, and serve as a legal and business adviser to senior executives, the network said.
