Orrick Announces Merit-Based Spring Bonuses

Law360, New York (April 14, 2011, 8:36 PM EDT) -- San Francisco-based Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP confirmed Thursday that it would dole out spring bonuses to associates on a merit-based scale, using the benchmark Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP set in January as a point of reference.

Orrick's U.S. associates who receive a 2010 merit bonus with 1,900 client representation hours in 2010 and a "very good" performance review or better will receive spring bonuses, according to a memorandum sent out to associates by Orrick partner Siobhan Handley.
