Law360, New York (April 15, 2011, 7:50 PM ET) -- A New York state judge ruled Thursday that International Flavor & Fragrances Inc. and a subsidiary are the successors to St. Paul Protection Insurance Co. policies that they hope will defray the costs of underlying butter-flavoring product liability settlements.
International Flavor subsidiary Bush Boake Allen Inc. never formally merged with Food Materials Corp. when it bought the company's stock in 1990 for $10 million, according to Judge Charles Edward Ramos of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New York.
