EBay Wins FTC Approval For $2.4B GSI Buy

Law360, New York (April 19, 2011, 3:54 PM EDT) -- The Federal Trade Commission granted termination Tuesday to its antitrust review of eBay Inc.'s $2.4 billion bid for GSI Commerce Inc. and other transactions in which GSI head Michael Rubin will take control of related commerce websites.

The FTC said it accepted requests for early termination, meaning the agency completed its antitrust review of the deals and decided not to take any enforcement action during the statutory waiting period.
